Heaven is a Free Gift

By grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

Heaven cannot be earned or deserved

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. Titus 3:5

Mankind

We are sinners

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

We cannot Save Ourselves

Whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. Titus 3:5

The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. Romans 6:23

God

God loves us and doesn't want to punish us

He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish. 2 Peter 3:9

God says "I have loved you with an everlasting love." Jeremiah 31:3

God is perfectly just and must punish sin

I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their sins. Isaiah 13:11

Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgement. Hebrews 9:27

Jesus Christ

Who Is Jesus Christ?

Jesus is God

In the Beginning was the Word. The Word was with God and the Word was God. John 1:1

He is the image of the invisible God. Colossians 1:15

Jesus is Man

And the Word became flesh and lived for a while among us. John 1:14

In Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form. Colossians 2:9

What did Jesus Christ come to do?

Jesus came to pay the penalty for our sin

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

He has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation. Colossians 1:22

Faith

Transfer your trust to Jesus Christ alone

God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

The gospel...is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes. Romans 1:16

Repent of all sin

God is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance. 2 peter 3:9

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:38
